The duo of portuguese artists Ana Borralho & João Galante is calling people from all professions, with or without artistic experience, to participate in the piece called ATLAS, during the Festival Panorama 2012.

Atlas is a performance that brings together 100 people from a city, from different professions, legalized or not. An unexpected portrait of Rio, where everyone can have a voice.

You can be one of the 100.

To participate is very simple, just send an email to Carol Moreira (carol.moreira@ panoramafestival.com ) with the subject: PARTICIPATION IN ATLAS. All volunteers receive a stipend!

Rehearsals:

Ana Borralho & João Galante will make a 5-day workshop, plus two general  rehearsals. The play will be presented in two nights. Rehearsals shall be made in post-trading hours, with approximately 3 hours per meeting.

Nov. 10 (Teatro Carlos Gomes) – Rehearsal at 19h – ALL MUST BE PRESENT

Nov. 11 (Teatro Carlos Gomes) – 1st DAY OF PRESENTATION OF ATLAS –  arrival at 18h, the presentation should start the 20h-ALL MUST BE PRESENT

Nov. 12 (Teatro Carlos Gomes) – 2nd DAY OF PRESENTATION OF ATLAS – arrival at 18h, the presentation should start the 20h-ALL MUST BE PRESENT

More information about the show:

Atlas premiered in October 2011, on Teatro Maria Matos’ anniversary, Lisbon, Portugal. Since then it has toured through several cities. In September of 2012 went through Terni, Italy and next week will be in Ljubljana, Slovenia!
