The Art Criticism Laboratory is a partnership between Festival Panorama and the Departamento de Arte Corporal da UFRJ and is an immersion into the works shown in this edition of Panorama through an exercise of analytical criticism. Two main activities form this year’s Laboratory: a Seminar about Criticism and Dance, by Lígia Tourinho, a teacher at the Departamento de Artes Corpporal da UFRJ and at the Pos-graduate program on Laban at Faculdade Angel Vianna and Catarina Saraiva, artistic director of Festival Panorama, as well as two meetings to discuss this edition’s program.
Participants are requested to read all suggested materials (which will be provided digitally), watch the performance that they will be asked to review and sign a letter of engagement before the start of the Laboratory’s actitivies. At the end of the Festival, all reviews will be published on Panorama’s website and certificates will be granted.
The submission period ends on October 17th.
