Bring people together for the “infinite talk” about the works, curatorships and spaces-times we live in – this is the democratic mission of the Laboratório de Crítica in its seven years of existence and partnership with the Panorama Festival, which completes twenty-seven years of life in 2018.

With more than 50 texts available online and a book launched in 2017, LabCrítica has contributed to the critical affluence of works presented in the last six years of the festival. The textual production of its participants from the immersion in the programming of Panorama 2018 will be published after the festival.

Laboratory of Criticism (LabCrítica) is a research and extension project, linked to the Graduate and Graduate courses in Dance of the Department of Body Art (DAC) of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). Created and directed by Prof. Dr. Sérgio Andrade, LabCritica has been dedicated since 2012 to the study and exercise of criticism and theorization in dance and performance.
